For nearly 50 years, After the Battle has been presenting the history of the world's conflicts through 'then and now' comparison photographs. From the Zulu wars, through the First and Second World Wars; to the Falklands, all are researched on the actual battlefield to show how they appear today. Our former quarterly publication, After the Battle magazine, concentrated mainly on the Second World War, the comparison photographs adding a new dimension to recent history. As well as major battles, local actions are explored and other features include the recovery of aircraft and vehicles on land and sea, the making of war films and the preservation of military artefacts. Seit fast 50 Jahren präsentiert „After the Battle" die Geschichte der Konflikte der Welt anhand von Vorher-Nachher-Fotos. Von den Zulukriegen über den Ersten und Zweiten Weltkrieg bis hin zum Falklandkrieg - alle Konflikte werden vor Ort recherchiert, um zu zeigen, wie sie sich heute präsentieren. Unsere frühere Vierteljahreszeitschrift, das Magazin „After the Battle", konzentrierte sich hauptsächlich auf den Zweiten Weltkrieg. Die Vergleichsfotos verliehen der jüngeren Geschichte eine neue Dimension. Neben großen Schlachten werden auch lokale Gefechte beleuchtet. Weitere Themen sind die Bergung von Flugzeugen und Fahrzeugen zu Land und zu Wasser, die Entstehung von Kriegsfilmen und die Erhaltung militärischer Artefakte.
